Vintage Colonial Williamsburg Pottery Cobalt Blue Leaf Motif Grey Stoneware Mug

This technique of salt glazing was discovered by Dutch potters using old salty herring barrels to fuel their kilns. Salt glazing produces an unusually strong textured finish. This mug is in excellent condition.
