Antique Three-Tier Folk Art Wood Spool Corner Shelf

This type of shelf was designed to resemble French faux bamboo styled pieces. Generally made from stacked thread spools to create the legs which were held together by an interior metal rod to ad structure to the piece. The triangular shelves and spools are stained and varnished to resemble cherry wood. This piece is unsigned and in great antique condition showing its beautiful, aged patina.
